Biography

Gabriella Guilfoil is an American dramatic soprano based in Germany. Recent highlights include Wagner's Wesendonck-Lieder with the NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover, appearances as a soloist with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, and as Santuzza in Mascagni's Cavalleria rusticana.

Originally from Olympia, Washington, Gabriella Guilfoil studied at Lawrence University (USA) before continuing her training in Germany at the University of the Arts Bremen and the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media.

She has appeared with Oper Halle, Theater Lübeck, Theater Kiel, Theater Osnabrück, and Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirchen, and maintains an active concert career encompassing orchestral repertoire, song recitals, contemporary music, and world premiere performances. Beyond opera and concert performance, her artistic work includes interdisciplinary collaborations in performance and installation art.
